Second Team ("we", "our" or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, join the waitlist or, once audits open, request a free Revenue Audit, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details: your email address, and anything you choose to tell us when you reply to our emails.
• Request source: the page you asked from, which edition it was (for example, distributors), and how you found us (for example, a link from Instagram).
• Audit data: the invoice and customer files you choose to share for a Revenue Audit. See section 3.
• Usage data: how you use our website, such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected through analytics.
• Cookies: small files stored on your device by our analytics provider, only if you accept them.
• How you found us: for your current visit only, we remember the link or website that brought you here and send it with your waitlist signup.

3. Invoice data you share for a Revenue Audit

• Your invoices may include details about your own customers, such as business names, contact names and amounts. We use them only to run your audit and show you the results.
• We only read your data. We never change your books or accounting records.
• We don't contact your customers, and we don't sell or share your audit data with anyone else.
• You can ask us to delete your audit data at any time, and we will.
• You are responsible for having the right to share your invoice data with us.

• To run your Revenue Audit and send you the results
• To reply to your messages and tell you about Second Team
• To understand what's working on our website and improve it
• To comply with legal obligations

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run the website and our audits, including our email platform (Kit), our analytics provider (Google Analytics) and our hosting provider (Vercel). They only process your information to provide their service to us.

6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, export, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including your audit data, or object to how we use it. You can stop our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

8. Cookies

We only use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, analytics does not load. You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or block cookies in your browser. The website works either way.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
